This was a delightful project Wendy O’Brien was personally asked to create in the name of Elizabeth Taylor for the Children’s Miracle Network while working on the celebrity’s home. The design was inspired by the youthful Taylor in “National Velvet,” her love for English printed fabrics and of course her unique violet eyes. It was auctioned off to benefit the charity held at the the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, California.
