Modern Craftsman Home – The Interior Architecture Before the Final Touches

For this stunning new modern craftsman home in the wine country of Newberg, we are taking a look at the floor to ceiling finished interior architecture before the final touches of furnishings and accessories are added throughout the home. This beautiful new construction home is a blend of modern craftsman, modern farmhouse and touches of industrial.

The architectural details and a relaxed atmosphere were very important to the client. We added warmth to the contemporary tray ceilings with textured beams that complement the wide plank flooring and other wood elements throughout. Industrial details such as the concrete fireplaces bring interest and work well with the clean lines of the built-ins. The open floor plan is great for family living and entertaining with a kitchen that is designed to keep everything within reach and to create chef inspired meals. The curved wood eating bar rests on a softly veined quartz countertop and metal legs, and is great for conversation during meals or get togethers.

The asymmetrical design of the main bathroom with crisp, polished nickel mirrors, sconces, and plumbing fixtures, plays well with the cream tile and organic shapes and a beautiful free standing tub.  The guest bathrooms also incorporate fun bath fixtures and accessories in polished finishes and uniquely patterned tiles.

The various light fixtures throughout this beautiful modern craftsman home add a hint of modern farmhouse and geometry in black, with mixed industrial metals to finish off each space. The home evokes the essence of the wine country with a bit of sophistication and laid back style.
